Why a Yard Sale?
Unlike your typical yard sale.. i.e. hand-me-downs and lemonade stands, we put on an event that matched the feeling of a hidden estate sale - where you find exactly what you were hoping for. For us? Real yards in Nashville, this close to downtown and starting at just $359k. That combination just doesn’t come around often, so we figured it deserved its own moment to share with our network and neighbors.
Legacy South’s Yard Sale event brought a steady flow of people, with over 250 visitors in the Saturday sun. We hosted the event at the Model Home Gallery in East Nashville, our fabulous (and very extroverted) sales team definitely had a lot to say, but the model homes stole the show, per usual. We could actually see people slow down once they walked in and visualizing their life in the space.
The Biggest Reaction
The design of the homes. Over 2,000 square feet, plus a yard and a garage, under $500K. That’s just not easy to find this close to downtown Nashville right now.

There were a lot of real conversations happening too. People asking about timelines, budgets, what makes sense for them. Our team helped talk through the bigger picture and set up follow-ups so people could actually figure out next steps.
Our $5K flex cash promo got people in the door, but walking the homes is what made it click. It gave people a clearer sense of what’s actually possible in the Nashville housing market, especially for first-time buyers trying to get out of renting. It feels a lot more doable once you see it.
